AMCS — Built on Volunteerism and Commitment

Having helped thousands of people throughout Los Angeles during the past 46 years, AMCS maintains its original philosophy, built on the principles of volunteerism and social commitment.

AMCS provides 15,000 hours of child, adult and family counseling services annually, with a small paid staff of only six. Between 300 to 500 children, adults and families are treated weekly.

The clinic has established outreach programs to local elementary and high schools, providing child therapy and preventive intervention.

Gift Shop Volunteers

Volunteers staff the Guilded Cage, a gift shop run by the Westchester Mental Health Guild to benefit Airport Marina counseling Service.

Event Volunteers

AMCS' major fund-raising events, including the August Jet to Jetty 10K/5K Walk/Run and a November Home Tour, are entirely operated by volunteers.

Counseling Session (above) at The Boys and Girls Club of Venice is provided by AMCS professional staff member.

If you would like to join with us in this important work please call us at 310-670-1410 or email volunteer@airportmarina.org
