AMCS Golden Gala Slated for March 10
Airport Marina Counseling Services (AMCS) will celebrate 50th anniversary with a Golden Gala on March 10, 2012 at Loyola Marymount University.
The evening's program will feature Dr. Elyn Saks, noted author of The Center Cannot Hold: My Journey Through Madness, who will share the compelling story of her life-long struggle with schizophrenia.
Don McMillan, noted local-area comedian, will be on hand to share his unique and hilarious observations of life in the age of technology. The evening begins at 6:00 pm and promises to be inspirational and entertaining. 29th Annual Holiday Home Tour Slated for Nov. 6
The Westchester Mental Health Guild presents its 29th Annual Holiday Home Tour on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 11 am to 4 pm. The tour features five fantastic homes in the Westchester/Playa del Rey area, all dressed up for the holidays.
